This time it’s personal…

According to a recent article, we’ve already broken our resolutions this year. Depressing, much? If you’re already struggling with motivation or are unsure where to start, have a think about personal training. Here’s a post by Luke, our resident personal trainer and therapist extrodinaire on how he can help you stick to your resolutions this year and enjoy lasting health.

 

 

 Hi my name is Luke.  I am a new member of staff at Core Strength Studios here in Bristol and am a Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist; I have a degree in Strength and conditioning and hold a Level 5 certificate in Sports Massage and Remedial Therapy.

 In my role as a Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist I work with a wide variety of persons ranging from sports players who are looking to avoid or recover from injury to the elderly who want to stay as fit as they can for as long as they can so my skills in both roles link well in everyone that I work with.

Challenging albeit the best way I find to help people achieve their goal is to educate, this way you will always appreciate the benefits of what you’re doing and may even enjoy it at the same time!

 My strengths lie in functional conditioning which means all exercise has a purpose, whether this is training for a marathon or simply wanting to move without pain or discomfort.

One frustration within the trade of Personal Training is that “it’s far too expensive”. Here at Core Strength Studios this is not the case….we have no joining fees, no monthly fees and no long term commitments which tend to put people off joining gyms today.
